Ely ArtWalk is seeking to fill two temporary, part-time, paid positions from October 2022 through February 2023. Ely ArtWalk is a community event that displays the artwork of over 60 local artists in Ely storefront windows during the month of February. The Coordinator works with the Board and volunteers to manage and produce the event. The Set-up Manager works with artists and local store owners to install the artwork. This position is one of two Set-up Managers who will develop and implement an installation plan for Ely ArtWalk 2023. They will install the display of approximately 60 artists’ work in about 40-45 storefront windows prior to the month-long event in February 2023. They will work closely with the paid, part-time Ely ArtWalk Coordinator who is responsible for over-all coordination of the event, with assistance from the Ely ArtWalk Board members.

The Set-up Manager position is estimated to be about 40-50 hours from December 2022 through the first week of March 2023. Pay: $600.
The Ely ArtWalk is dedicated to the creation, promotion, and appreciation of the arts. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund, and by a grant from the Donald G. Gardner Humanities Trust, and by individual and business sponsors.
