February 1-10th:
View over 500 pieces of art in the windows of downtown merchants.
Free and open all day and night!
Saturday February 2nd - 1-4 pm
ArtWalk Opener and "Meet the Artists" reception on the deck of The Chocolate Moose, 101 N. Central Ave. Come join the festivities as we celebrate the opening of the Ely ArtWalk. Meet many of the participating artists, and enjoy art activities for the children. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies will be served.
Saturday February 9, 9 am-12:00 noon
Enjoy a morning of art and reading activities for children at the JFK Lounge. FREE supplies and instruction. Contact Cecilia Rolando at 365-5070 for more information.
Saturday February 9, 11 am-2 pm
Adult watercolor class in the art room #144 at Vermilion Community College, sponsored by Ely Greenstone Public Art with instructor Ellen Pickering. Bring a bag lunch. Room for 20 artists.
Call Claire Taylor at 365-7828 to reserve a spot. $15 fee. (This class is open to all levels.)
